As a speaker, humorist, columnist and author of Is Your Glass Laugh Full?, Ron's mission is to help healthcare staff and leaders achieve a new level of excellence using humor to minimize stress and maximize effectiveness. He shows people how to have more FUN while preserving the integrity of the work they do and the lives they lead. Plus, he's just darn funny.

For ten years, Ronald Culberson worked as a home care social worker, Manager of Counseling Services and Director of Quality Services at Hospice of Northern Virginia (now Capital Hospice). He also served in the Division of Child Protection at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC. These experiences exposed him to the challenges of healthcare from the front line to middle management to senior management. And for what it's worth, he has also been a patient.

Since 1996, Ron has been the Director of Everything! at FUNsulting, etc. In 2001 he received the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation, the highest earned designation from the National Speakers Association. He has successfully turned a social disability of talking too much into a lucrative career as a professional speaker.

In addition to his work with humor, Ron dedicates one-third of his time to volunteer service. He is on the Board of Directors for the National Speakers Association (NSA) and a Past President of the Washington, DC chapter of NSA where he received the Chapter Member of the Year Award. He has served on numerous boards and committees at Vienna Presbyterian Church as well as the Herndon Rotary club where he oversees two of their largest fundraisers. In 2005, Ron received the Rotarian of the Year Award.
