Patrick Evans launched a company in 1979 from his garage that eventually grew to $40 million in annual revenue and sold in 2000 for $60 million, making 22 partners millionaires.

His company, EVCOR, grew to become the largest independent competitor to industry giants Pitney Bowes and Friden/Alcatel, providing over 3,000 companies with a unique software-based system to facilitate the shipping of packages. In a 5-year period, it experienced a 1019% growth and was recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in the United States. While serving loyal clients such as Intel, GE, Abbott Labs, Sony and Oracle, Patrick trained and managed thousands of sales professionals.

Patrick's new book, SalesBURST!! World's Fastest (entrepreneurial) Sales Training (Wiley, September 2007), reveals the strategies his sales force uses to dramatically increase the bottom line and sell more in a shorter time span.

A fast-thinking, turbo-energized sales guru who has come far from his days as a biology major, Patrick now practices the science of sales. Prior to forming EVCOR, he became the youngest sales manager in the history of the nationwide Singer/Friden Corporation. He became its number one sales rep within just four months of graduating college. Having helped start up 22 businesses, Patrick was inducted into the University of Illinois-Chicago Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.
